I have crossed many. The Ohio, Mississippi, Missouri, Colorado, Rio Grande, Columbia, Mackenzie, Willamette, San Joaquin, Rhine, Tiber, Seine, Thames, Liffey, Sacramento, Russian, Feather, Mad, Klamath, Snake, Salmon, Mekong, Potomac, Arkansas, Pecos and Platte among many others I am sure. LOL, When I was in my late teens, I attempted to swim across the Colorado near Needles, CA. I don't recommend it. I made it about fifteen ft. from shore before the river carried me about 500' downstream. I quickly turned around, climbed out and hiked back to the car..
I've never "been on", with the exception of the Mersey, but have driven over the first two, as well as the Columbia, the Chehalis and the Big Sioux.
There might be others I can't remember, plus more creeks than I can possibly remember.
.
Amazon is on my bucket list along with the Yukon.Been on most of the rivers in the USA and Europe. My trip up the Amazon was particularly spectacular. The size of it is immense, it truly is amazing.
I've crossed over bridges over way too many to list. But actually being on the river as in a boat? Only one and that was in Alaska on the Talkeetna River. We were on an airboat to see Eagle and beaver activity. The only activity we saw though was one abandoned eagle nest and a tree a beaver had gnawed on.rivers of the world
