I enjoyed listening to most all of Trump's cabinet yesterday as well as seeing their comradery. But I think there are a few standouts 100 days in.

Some of my favorites so far, including not just cabinet members but other team members too - are Vance, Rubio, Bessent, Bondi, Hassett, Greer, Wiles, Makary, and Leavitt.

Also, which ones are your least favorites?

I thought Rubio was excellent yesterday!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the Trump pairing with Rubio as SoS, but it sure seemed to be going well yesterday, from the reaction of each to the other.

Marco Rubio is a rock star.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the 2028 mix of POTUS candidates. While I like Vance a lot, Rubio might get my vote between those two.

It's early days still, but I'm really liking Rubio in his current position.

Your first three are solid as I view them as intellectuals and the courage to be so in a time where being an honest intellectual is frowned upon (see the post I just made in the general section).

I would also add Gabbard to this group as well. She is smart, able to break down ideas and from what I can glean she has principle. Principle is very rare in todays world of "I do and say whatever I can for myself and I don't care what it means for everyone else".

Trump rewarding her with a very high profile position was a reflection of Trumps courage and conviction. He wants to reward people of principle, not suppress them.

He has a smart daughter, fairly smart kids in general from what I can tell. Would he want her to not get opportunity if her last name wasn't Trump? I hope not. We should celebrate smart people, reward them, not turn them into pariahs because the rest can't keep up. This concept should be held for anyone regardless of if they were born wealthy or not.

I believe that the more transparent and honest someone is, the more they will be embraced by Americans. Trumps picks for his cabinet are very popular with his base based on the interviews I have seen and increasingly, even in spite of resistance from many in the media; they are popular with ALL Americans. Americans are tired of being lead like lemmings. They want competence.

Trump has them operating with the goal of succeeding and all spoke in a manner that suggests that they have their eyes on the objective.

Gabbard is most definitely an independent thinker. Sometimes so far, she has seemed a bit nervous in her new role IMO. But yesterday, I didn't notice that nervousness at all.

Trump is such a confident person that he is happy to hire competent and successful people. I think his strong compliments to his cabinet after he'd gone around the table and each had spoken yesterday, were very genuine.

Right now I'm loving Stephen Miller lecture the MSM.

As press secretary, I think Leavitt is amazing and it took her no more than about two days to settle into her role. What an impressive young lady she is!

Marco Rubio is a rock star.
A Rubio/Gabbard ticket would be difficult to beat in my opinion. Yes, it is a gender issue with Gabbard but that is not a reflection of her lack of competence, far from it, just a matter of playing the "broad vote grabbing demographic".

She would be a female president who one could view as worthy of the position as she is far from a token choice. She is cool under pressure and principled. I can't overstate how much I respect and admire principle and courage.

Vance/Rubio would be a very strong battery as of now. Vance calling out European leaders in Europe was this administrations "tear down this wall" moment and it was a real eye opener to his leadership skills. It may have offended some people NEVER want to be introspective, but it was very popular with European citizens. We don't need elite overlords, we need citizens who are leaders organically to actually lead.

The quality of leadership in the West over the last 30 years has been wanting for sure. Absent in any measurable quantity in some cases.

I think Hegseth represents the best Trump has to offer
I'm hoping Hegseth will work out well and I liked to see Trump and the rest of the cabinet supporting him yesterday, but I'm waiting to see how it goes with him. Sometimes he seems pretty defensive when answering questions. Even in his tough spot of so much incoming criticism, he needs to show more calm IMO.

That's just how I felt about that moment! Vance is off to a really good start and that moment was just great.

I like the religious undertones.

Bondi clearly. She was the clear winner in the last public cabinet meeting in the 'suck up to Trump' competition. Very impressive.

The level of maga analysis on this thread is incredibly low.
I would like to know why Leavitt and most of Trump's "team" speak as if they're that North Korean "news" reader lady. All flamboyant, grandiose hyperbole.

I'm waiting for "today the great Donald Trump had eight holes in one, threw a football further than Tom Brady, and ran the hundred yard dash in less than nine seconds."

Remember that "report" that Trump's "doctor" gave on his health? "He'll be the healthiest President in the history of the country"

How does this happen? Do they get some kind of training?

I think they recognise that trump is mentally ill. He needs the love to keep him from bombing someone. Greenland or Panama.
