Two phrases that are commonly used in the print media and I am not sure how they should be rated.
There is GROWING ANGER at the governments inability to do whatever....
And
There was MOUNTING FURY last night over the governments decision to stick their fingers up their arse.
I think GROWING ANGER is basically "we asked a few guys in the newsroom about this".
Wheras MOUNTING FURY means I saw a tweet about this last night.
Strategically I think GA comes the day before MF in tabloid land because you can always get a quote out of some politico whose anger has turned to fury overnight. But I may be wrong.
Its all a part of the way the tabloids influence us.
