That is not a complaint. Those were his words and those are the facts. All presidential elections are rhetoric. They almost never talk about policy or actual ideas. Instead they say things like 'I will fight for you' or they promise your particular industry will be protected or that you will make more money and on and on. These are not policies and they are not real things. They are platitudes. Then they bang on about how much the other guy will not take care of you.

Do you really think this is not the case? Trump winning just proves it, his campaign was MUCH more about rhetoric than the Harris campaign was. That is objectively true. The problem, IMHO, with the Harris campaign is that most of her rhetoric is about things the nation does not care about.
