This is a weird story in which a young woman was arrested due to mistaken identity on the part of a police officer.
Okay, that's doing to happen. Police are not perfect, and due to their profession, others pay for their mistakes more harshly than a teacher giving a failing grade to the wrong student, or a referree calling a foul on the wrong player.
But it turned out to be fortuitous. By jailing the "wrong person," she was discovered to be in the country unlawfully. So the police department followed the law and turned her over to ICE. Good news, as we are now safer from one more criminal. But, no. They let her out.
Somehow, the left blamed the officer for his department following the law. He has been hounded, and left high and dry by that same department, to the point that he resigned. Meanwhile, the illegal alien is reunited with her illegal alien family, and the news is presenting that as a happy ending, somehow.
??????
I'd be interested to know how Democrats on here think of this situation:
