The truth of the matter is that JFK illegally used the CIA to equip and train a little army to invade Cuba in 1962 and the administration lost it's nerve at the last minute. We lived through four years of a mentally defective president who was defended by the TDS left. Old Joe had his demented thumb on the nuclear button and the "autopen" seemed to be running the government and the TDS left didn't seem concerned. Actually, the initiative to remove Castro was started under Eisenhower's administration and was headed by Nixon but was strictly a CIA and Joint Chiefs project. It continued when Kennedy was elected, but he found out they were lying to him and tried to force him to escalate their war, and he fired the lot of them. They took his impertinence badly. Neocons come on all colors and shapes, not just one party. The media creates false narrative as well as omits real news, that's where they get their useful leaks.
