You proved yourself wrong with the first graphs. Now you're digging the hole deeper. This graph only shows production rates. That's it. Nothing at all about consumption.

You really should learn to read the graphs, and what they're about, before posting any more.

Fact: The US consumes more oil than we produce. And throw in the fact that we export about 4mbpd, that leaves us buying/importing about 10 mbpd.

Why do we export and import crude oil? Who TF knows or cares. It probably boils down to importing better oil than we export. Or it could be that chinese & canadian tar sands crap that comes down the Keystone, that can't be refined into gas/diesel economically.

It is my belief that the national debt of the United States, [as well as the national debt of Canada], is significantly a practical joke that is being played on us ignorant masses by Neo-Malthusians who control a significant percentage of the real wealth of this world.
