Recycled plastics and many other resources and scraps are not processed in countries like the UK, US, Canada, Germany...because of environmental regulations.

How about suggestions for cutting down our use of such things? How many times do we remember to take the reusable bags to the grocery store? Do any of us actually use those stainless steel straws you can buy? When we're shopping, do we factor in the amount of plastic packaging when deciding what to buy? I'm sure I'm as guilty as the next guy in this sort of thing. How do we get better at it?
