This is pretty interesting, I did not know much about all of the blood types, but I do now.

When I got my first set of dog tags in the army, there was a code shown as follows: "A NEG."

I wondered at first if they thought I was a Negro.

You're a 2%er, as am I. I donated blood at least twice a year for most of my working life, as they had regular blood drives where I worked, but I have only donated a couple times since retirement.

My blood type is 40 proof. The only real drawback is that it often leads to a suspended license.

I donated blood when I could, but my current cocktail of pharmaceuticals makes them recoil in horror at my blood. Makes me wonder/hope what they are doing to me (76M).

My dog tag just said type A, nothing else.

I would but I'm slightly anemic and my blood sugar is bit high.
