Someone said that in Hell, you go through what you put others through on Earth.

Then, in an un-related article I read once... Wait, I think it was a video, someone saw Hitler in Hell, after one of those Near Death experiences where you visit Hell or maybe Purgatory but get revived by med staff. Hitler was seen going to the "showers" that the Jews were forced to go into, where they were instead gassed to death, and in Hell he was forced to do this over and over and over, probably in the stead of every single one of those he had ordered murdered. And then when he was done being in the place of all those unfortunates, the whole thing would start all over again.

You cannot sin with impunity and expect to avoid punishment. God is absolutely holy. And sin drives holiness (grace) from the soul..

The point was, the thief, after living a life devoid of good works, reached out to God in faith before he died and was saved.

but they don't believe in Hell for THEIR sins..

Maybe this is why Jesus said that if we don't do penance (punish ourselves for our sins through charity, fasting... etc) on Earth, we will all perish in Hell

Again, that example defies your theory as to who is saved and who is not.

I also hearken back to when Jesus healed a cripple.

Matthew 9:1-8 Jesus got into a boat, crossed the sea, and came to his own city. 2 Some people brought him a paralyzed man on a stretcher.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Cheer up, friend! Your sins are forgiven.”

3 Then some of the experts in Moses’ Teachings thought, “He’s dishonoring God.”

Sorry, Jesus can save or heal anyone, anytime, for any reason he so chooses for those who reach out in faith to him.

0 proof of any of that crap. The Bible tells us what is going on in hell. And none of what you posted is scriptural. It's like you are willing to swallow anything except the Bible...

I had a lady who kept backing up into me over and over and over again in parking lot giving it more gas each time as if that was going to get her over whatever she was hung up on. Her adjuster was all "My god. WTF was she thinking", She owned up to it though. Didn't even try to make excuses. I was in her blind spot, but they couldn't deny liability as many times as she rammed me. Irony was I had done that exact same thing to my dad's car when I was a teen.
