To begin with, I offer my condolences. It is my belief that those closest to a loved one know how someone , such as your grandmother, would wish to be cared for. It is my opinion that you genuinely loved and cared for your grandmother based on the fact that you cared enough to run this thread. It is also my opinion that you did indeed read your grandmother correctly and give her what she truly wanted.
