The main draw on Twitter is the hope that you can get a celebrity to notice you.

Dana Carvey is from my hometown and he favorited one of my tweets. That's about the sum of my brush with celebrities. These folks use Twitter to advertize their movies. It's a bit boring and shallow to be honest.

Then there's the usual dork asking some celeb with 3 million followers to follow them.

It's stupid.
