From the Wall Street Politicians perspective, Letting Lehman Brothers collapse was a way to write off the large debt from the Bubble Economy. They would not have allowed for all the Banks to fail, because then they would loose their power completely in the ensuing destruction.

The top men under Obama were all Goldman Boys, so it sure as heck was not going to be Goldman Sachs.

Allowing Lehman to fail helped the Wall Street Elite overall.

I, on the other hand, would have liked to have seen it all come crashing down.
