What our Republican "Friends" Have Said About our Military Lately

Folks, the enemy lives among us. Racists, those who support an insurrection over an election, those who hate our military, and those who worship a con man named Donald Trump,. what do they all have in common? They not only all vote Republican, but some serve as Republicans in Congress.

In just the past two weeks, here's what we've heard from leading conservative and Republican voices: Fox News host Tucker Carlson called Gen. Milley a "pig" who is "stupid." Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida openly mocked the sacrifices our armed forces have made in past conflicts. Rep. Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina suggested America looks to the Viet Cong for inspiration. And Fox News host Laura Ingraham even floated defunding the military.

Know your enemy.

That pig Milley is our entire Military?

Well SHIT, Nazi Danny.....

Republicanism and Trumpism are now one and the same. Trumpism has no coherent ideology because it is a cult of personality. It all has to do with the Dear Leader. If it benefits Trump it is good; if it does not it is bad.
Trump is just one symptom of the problem, he’s not THE problem.

He is the biggest problem, but yes, there are multiple things wrong with Republicans:

1) They have a hive mentality, and vote in unison on most everything. Only the brave and those with character dare step out of line. There are exceedingly few with these qualities.

2) The base is uneducated, gullible, and easily fooled by propaganda, much of it used to come from Russia, but it is now mainly homegrown.

3) That someone of Donald Trump's stature and background could so easily gain control over millions of people, to the point of worship, is probably the greatest issue facing this country moving forward. The next messiah for the Republicans will be far less clownish than Trump, and his appeal to the masses worshipping the Golden Calf will be far more effective.
You missed the point, you feel that way about Republicans because you have been manipulated by YOUR PARTY apparatchiks, just a Republicans have been manipulated by theirs to feel that way about YOU.

Neither viewpoint comes anywhere close to reality in terms of the actual makeup of the citizenry as a whole, both sides just hold up the EXTREMES of the opposite party as emblematic of the whole.

Classic false equivalency.

Gaetz is a dick defined like he's a leftist. Leftists don't like context, because he said: With Generals like this it’s no wonder we’ve fought considerably more wars than we’ve won. Personally I'd never say that openly because it insults all military, but he's a dick and thinks he's attacking one guy. It's beyond you, don't put any thought into it, the chamber is empty.

Carlson is right. Leftists don't like context and assume military cannot be criticized, HELLO ASHLEY BABBITT. The general is a leftist gone rouge (e.g., Brennan), we're going to study white rage due the "insurrection"? He is a stupid pig asshole. Your OP/thread is twisted, excuses leftists, and all you did is demonstrate how pathetic the left has become.

Ingram is dead-right. Study white rage? are you fucking tarded? Hey man, let's "study black rage", see how that flies, fucking leftist.

You fucking leftists can't even see the REAL message is the left is purely racist from all angles. If you're black you're constantly told you're incapable, and if you're white you're evil and "attack our democracy". Left politics and filth has no place in the military, same as Brennan fuck had no business going rouge in the name of leftists, but leftists are no longer honorable, stick that in your pipe and smoke.

You do know this is an opinion piece, right?

Written by a house Democrat, and probably one of the most hyperbolic I have read in a while.

Libs love that one. You attack an individual, probably with good cause, and they report it as attacking a GROUP that guy is a member of.

It is just one of the many ways they lie.

THey are such filthy lying whores.

Care to elaborate on your assertion? Maybe actually formulate a reason and evidence based argument? Or are you just going to stick with reciting the dictionary in place of one and hope no one will notice?

I already have. Maybe you should learn to read. It's not my fault you don't understand, and it's not my responsibility to teach you.

I understand perfectly what you’re saying, which is why it’s rather easy to recognize it as an attempt to substitute fluff for an actual argument.

Let me know if you can actually come up with something that doesn’t consist purely of hyper-partisan talking points, maybe then I can take what you have to say seriously.

Until then happy trails.

Meh, it beats left wing traitors and corrupt Dem's screwing over the American people to line their own pockets.
The only traitors are those that stormed the Capitol building to overturn an election and halt the constitutional process.
Go back to China traitor.
Go back to Russia, insurrectionist trash. You and your ilk are a fifth column in this nation.
The left scum will be destroyed and erased from history.
Trumpism is headed for the trash heap of history. Of course, you have already beat them to the trash heap.
Trump whooped your asses, twice. :talk2hand: Plus he replaced Ginsburg with a conservative justice :muahaha:
Living in denial is no way to live. Break free of the cult.
Take a break, you don't have to betray the American people every day.
The only people that betray America every day are those that lie about election fraud.
Dems lie about their election fraud daily.

.

Primarily to avoid the idea they have nothing worthwhile to actually offer.

As for the military ... When someone enters training, who they are is, and should be, left at the door, and the object is to make them a soldier.
Soldiering is about unit cohesion, effectiveness and lethality, as well as operational and mission excellence and success.

Their job is not sitting in a circle, holding hands, singing Kumbaya and tying daisy chains.

This is a Daisy Cutter, and if you aren't paying attention to what you actually need to know,
you're going to end up in a Zipper Bag.

I don’t see anything about Trump in the OP.

Lefties bashed Col. Oliver North, they called General Petraeus 'General Betrayus', they crapped all over General Michael Flynn.

Their hypocrisy shall rise again.

Never occurred to us to pretend their attacks on those individuals were attacks on all veterans.

We aren't the assholes. They are.

That’s just as silly and counter-factual as saying Democrats and Marxism are now one and the same.
That's a false equivalency.n while you might find a few folks who identify both as Marxists and Democrats it would only be a few. That's no longer the case where trump supporters and republicans are concerned.
Ummm… stereotypes are stereotypes no matter which side of the partisan divide is slinging them.

Trump is just a product of our existing “lesser of two evils” system, where one side thinks the the greater of two evils is the “gang of marxists” on the left and the lesser evil is demagogue Donny telling them he’s the bulwark of the defense against that gang.

The reverse is true from a Democrat standpoint, the end result is that the citizenry is pitted AGAINST ITSELF while the plutocrats in BOTH parties are left to continue their consolidation of power and looting of the citizenry unabated by what’s actually in the best interests of the citizenry at large.

People that continue to paint with these broad brushes are just attempting to demonize vast swaths of the citizenry because it’s far more convenient than actually facing up to the root causes.
I'm not saying tRump is the root of the problem, just that he's the current focus.

There is no "gang of Marxists", and there is no democratic talking point on the other side of that.

Sometimes you need a broad brush to cover lots of ground.

You talk like a child.
Too many big words for you?

The democratic talking point on the other side of that was the whole point of the conversation RE “Republicanism and Trumpism are now one in the same”, which is EXACTLY the equivalent of Republicans claiming that “Democrats and Marxism are now one in the same”.
I'm afraid it's not.all the evidence I've seen say's the republicans are embracing tRump and his cult of personality. They are afraid to contradict him and his conspiracy theories. All of them, from the pundits to the Senate minority leader, from the governors to the head of the RNC.

Can you point out a similar phenomenon in the Democratic party and Marxism?

In truth, they are working with the congressional and Senate Republicans, while the media has the nation distracted with everything else, and a very large government plan for meddling in society and the economy is on it's way.

I don't see much talk about this on the forum at all, and this is the most consequential thing going on. . . IMO

. . . something will pass, it just depends on how much power the socialists have in the DNC, and the fascists have in the GOP, as to how much money will be spent, and how much sovereignty will be stripped from the people.

Listening to Dems, who ordered background checks on the military to see if they were Trump supporters back in Jan....complain about any comments currently being directed at the military is laughable...
