Got an example or is this just you exercising your free speech right to lie?

Which laws have not changed in 250 years?
the 1st amendment hasnt changed in 250 yrs,,

do you need help packing your stuff??

Do you have any historical evidence for clergy using their position to coerce people to vote one way or another on anything?

Maybe I have led a sheltered life, but I don’t recall this happening. I do recall churches taking a position on the sacredness of life and I have read about churches participating in the abolitionist movements but I don’t have any knowledge of anyone saying do this or you are going to hell.
Yes black clergy has always been political

Key First Amendment Supreme Court cases include Tinker v. Des Moines (student speech), Texas v. Johnson (flag burning), New York Times Co. v. Sullivan (libel against public officials), Brandenburg v. Ohio (incitement to violence), Engel v. Vitale (school prayer), Gitlow v. New York (incorporation of free speech to states), and Murthy v. Missouri (government influence on social media platforms). These cases define the boundaries of protected speech, religion, the press, assembly, and petition rights against government action.

so is that a yes or no on helping you pack??

I'd be happy to discuss with Hafar1014 but, so far as I know, none of the (famous) Black preachers, e.g., MLK, told their followers the segregationists would go to hell.
That's the standard? They must be famous? Was the example you gave earlier to me an example of someone famous?

They have to be famous enough so I can hear about them.
You have heard about Joseph Strickland but you have never heard about Jeremiah Wright?

C'mon man.

So Joseph Strickland is famous and Jeremiah Wright isn't famous?

C'mon man.

Im a Jew we dont have hell. A church cant endorse a candidate or lose tax exemption but black churches have always gotten away with this

Take it up with Google, I just ran the search. Got an incriminating quote from Wright?

If you read what I wrote, you'd see I don't have an issue with anyone endorsing a political candidate or party. My only issue with clergy that claim God endorses a political candidate or party

There's a wiki page on it. Obama seemed to have a problem with it. Given that you know all about Joseph Strickland - who is a nobody - I'm surprised you don't know about this. Or maybe, you just googled for something to rationalize your belief and never really knew anything about Joseph Strickland until today.

I do like how you changed your tune to it's only a problem if they are famous though.

Given that 94% of blacks vote for Democrats are you really so naive that you believe that isn't being discussed in black churches?

C'mon man.

I knew nothing about Bishop Strickland until he came up in a Google search: "clergy politics who is going to hell based on how they vote"

I only find out about a problem if they are famous.

No shit.

But it only counts if he is famous, right?

But Joseph Strickland wasn't famous and you found out about that. So maybe it's you only find out about problems you go looking for.

If their ministers are telling them they'll go to hell if they vote the wrong way? Yes I have a problem with that.
