What is the US national interest in bombing a big bridge in Iran?

And yet, a year ago they supported no more wars.
This isn't a year ago. Things change. Duh!

Also, the statement a year ago, referred to offensive unilateral action against an opponent. This is a defensive, multilateral action.

That was a civilian bridge, why destroy it?

Have they run out of miltary targets? :dunno:

Mobility helps the IRGC and the Mullahs, not the people we are going to need to rise up when we are finished with the strikes.

The bridge was used to transport rocket launchers

They'll say anything to justify it.

In Nashville we have highway 40. Every once in a blue moon you see a military vehicle on that highway. So that's "proof" highway 40 is a "military highway."

They'll say anything, no matter how stupid....

No, this is a 100% pure sellout of our military to serve Israel, period.

Israel isn't the point. Iran is.

What I "support" is related to the national security of the United States. Get it ?

Laughable.

You only care about Israel, period.

What do you think bridge is used for the good news is not anymore

There are historical precedents for reducing the mobility of a defending force.

What you wanted all along, another "forever war" with US boots on the ground.

Hope you are happy with getting what you want....

Times of Israel is reporting it, not many others are, just how badly Israel is getting hit by the hour...

No forever war. We get the IRGC down to a certain level the Iranian people will handle it.

Are we in a "forever war" In Venezuela right now?

I expect open elections in Venezuela by the end of the year.

That was never a war, it was an "arrest" of a man we indicted for drugs who also stole a 70/30 election.

That is very different that just bombing another country because Israel wanted us to... with no clue what we were doing, or who we are in bed with....

and we should trust your assessment of that why....???

You can agree or disagree with it as you wish, I am just giving my opinion.

Unlike many people on this board, I don't parade my opinions around as fact.

My opinion is based on the information we have seen so far, as well as the big difference in this fighting compared to previous fighting. This version is focused on decapitation of leadership and erosion of internal security force strength.
