I thought that I understood it to be targeting a group of people because of their race or religion or whatnot. However, this article is saying that President Trump wants to clean out Gaza so is that still considered genocide? I mean I get why he wants to do it but not everybody there is a terrorist. My suspicion is that it's a fake article

Genocide is the attempt at destroying a people. There are many ways of doing this, killing them all obviously works, but taking away their children to be brought up in a different culture, the destruction of culture, preventing people from practicing their culture too.

Clearing out Gaza would be ETHNIC CLEANSING, not genocide.

Do you know why they were not allowed to trade? It was because they kept violating the terms of Israels withdrawal and importing materials to build rockets. Why did the Israels and Egyptians enforce a sea blockade?
