Trump Vows Stonewall of āAllā House Subpoenas, Setting Up Fight Over Powers
WASHINGTON ā The Trump administration escalated its defiance of Congress on Wednesday, as the Justice Department refused to let an official testify on Capitol Hill and President Trump vowed to fight what he called a āridiculousā subpoena ordering a former top aide to appear before lawmakers.
āWeāre fighting all the subpoenas,ā Mr. Trump told reporters outside the White House. āThese arenāt, like, impartial people. The Democrats are trying to win 2020.ā
The moves added to an already remarkable week of stonewalling by the Trump administration after the release of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, that revealed the scope of the Russian operation to help Mr. Trump win the 2016 election and detailed his attempts to impede an investigation he saw as imperiling his presidency.

As I've pointed out a number of times, Trump egregiously violated norms so often it's easy to forget them all. During his presidency it was difficult to thoroughly explore the depths of his continuous stream of depravity because one act so closely followed the previous one. It was a whirlwind of orchestrated chaos that was disorienting.
Putting that aside, I can't help wondering how The Following feels about cheering on Don's steadfast refusal to comply with congressional requests for information, or subpoenas of such, during (and after) his admin as House Crazies prepare to begin a wave of McCarthy-esque investigations in to all things Biden. Will you folks defend Joe from "congressional overreach" or hypocritically demand he comply with a barrage of requests for info no matter their legitimacy?
