what if there was no islam and no muslims

Even IF islam never existed there would still be the good old communists to tackle.

The Soviet wouldn't have lost in Afghanistan , the U.S wouldn't be able to kick the Soviets out of Afghanistan.

Actually , if you see it in my way America owes a lot to the Muslims.
The Soviet Union would have become even more powerful IF not for the then U.S/Taliban alliance. The Soviets would have even invaded Pakistan and would have extended their occupation till the border with India.

The whole of India would have PROBABLY come under Moscow's influence.

That would be dangerous for the U.S in Asia.

So , there you go.. You have a linear equation for America:D

World - Muslims = China + Russia + N.Korea + Third World Countries allied with the Communists = BIG BIG PROBLEM FOR AMERICA!!!

Akshay

you know that they used osama bin laden to kick the soviets out ? they kinda made him they made that pyscho osama bin laden :puke3:

yeah sorry i thought u being sarcastic

anyway yeah
Torah - Christianity - and finally islam
was the 3 books sent by god or at least the last 3 books
and islam was the last one
and mohamed is last prophet
anyway if you are intersted you willl find so many web sites
which is contain so much information and you might find people there who could answer you the right answers

because i am just 20 and i dont have so much information
i mean who ever open the bible there ? unless he was a minister or something..

Thanks for the advice. But I've done just that. I spent almost two years reading the Koran and Hadiths online. Mainly from this site:

http://www.al-islam.com/eng/

This one has an interesting Q&A section:

This one is from the University of Southern California's Muslim Student Association:

Which kind of Muslim are you? Sunni or Shi'a?

oh interesting you studied islam for 2 years

okay about that muslims should do 2 major things
follow the quran and mohamed "books of sunnah"
so if that makes me sunni its okay
but all muslims in the world are muslim except thoes in iran and some in iraq

and thoes shi'a have like a story and they do some things which its not right in islam...

I didn't study it. I just read it. I didn't take any notes, or keep track, so I have no idea how much of the Koran and Hadiths I did read. It's pretty much impossible to do that online. The first site I linked to disabled their English language pages a few months months after I started reading it, and it was a long time before before they put them back up again, so I read a lot of the Hadiths on a bunch of different sites.

I gave up reading it after a while because I read enough, and because it was pointless to quote anything from the texts because people just reply with Bible quotes.

Can you clear something up for me? How the hell do you spell Mohammed in English? I've seen it spelled about four different ways. I gave up trying to spell Koran correctly so I just use Koran to simplify things. Is there an official spelling for the English Mohammed?
