What if the 2024 election is Donald Trump vs Joe Biden.

I still don't think Trump will be in the 2024 presidential race. This January 6th committee will refer criminal charges on Trump to the doj, who will likely indict Trump, and work to get a conviction making Trump ineligible to run.
Even if they can't get a conviction, they will have him tied up in legal battles that he won't have time to run.
Where did you think this was all headed?

I was thinking about posting a similar thread. I don't particularly like Trump. I didn't vote for him in either the 2016 primaries or general (didn't vote for Hillary either). As much as I really don't care for Trump in 2020 the election was pretty clear cut. You either vote for freedom and good times (ignoring the pandemic) or you vote for woke, politically correct socialism. That was an easy choice so I held my nose and voted for Trump. Now, 2024 could be different. If Republicans were to win and win big in the 2022 midterms, I could think about voting for either Biden or, maybe someone else just so I didn't vote for Trump. But, if Democrats somehow manage to hold onto either the House or the Senate or both, I cannot vote for woke, politically correct socialism.What if the 2024 election is Donald Trump vs Joe Biden.

What does that say about the Republican party. Their leader has equal chance of being in jail in 2024 as being their Presidential nominee in 2024I still don't think Trump will be in the 2024 presidential race. Just like both presidential impeachment, democrats already had their decision made before the investigation began.What does that say about the Republican party. Republicans have a number of better choices. I personally would like to see a ticket of Tim Scott and Niki Haley, no particular order. As far as the left goes, I just don't see a realistic choice I could live with. If Manchin were to run then he probably has my vote but I highly doubt he will run. The only choices on that side will be woke, politically correct, socialists.I hope we have better choices in 2024.

In my opinion, Trump should NOT run for President, but instead become speaker of the House in 2022. He will wield more power than President if he does this.
Just think of it this way---------->While people make fun of Biden, who is really the power? Nancy (Socialist loving) Pelosi. The President can not sign anything, unless it goes through congress 1st. If Trump wants to wield absolute power, let the GOP win both chambers of congress in 2022, then make him speaker.
Do that, and the Left would melt-)
Also, as speaker, that does not remove his opportunity to run for President, so it is a double whammy for the Left.
