I knew very little about the Freemasons until I heard a lecture from somebody who claimed to have been involved with them at a pretty serious level.
Dennis, this guy is a Satan worshipper. He joined the LDS Church under false pretenses. He went to the Temple under false pretenses too. His story about Elder Faust is full of crock as well. I've been to the Temple hundreds of times in 47 years and there is no bringing in children or any other pedophilia crap that he said Faust said happens. I too went the first time to the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Have you heard the missionaries ever say they worship Satan? No. This guy is a liar. I also doubt what he says about the Masons is true as well. Are there pedophile Masons or in the LDS Church? Of course. They slip in because that's what pedophiles do. It's sad that there are children that grow up after being sexually assaulted and then become pedophiles themselves. It's a pattern and I've witnessed this a few times. But, it's not taught in the Church. On the contrary. It's quite the opposite.
As far as Joseph Smith being a Mason, yes he was. But, the reason was safety and political as well. He had thoughts of running for President at one time. He needed support in his state and his area. But, the main reason was to get some protection from the mobs that tarred and feathered him and others. He thought that if he joined the Masons that he could call on them to protect him and his members of the Church. When he was shot and killed, he cried out a Mason statement hoping that they would not kill him. But, they did anyway. It wasn't the mob but the Masons that killed him. He called the Mason ceremony the counterfeit Temple ritual or endowment. Some of the symbolism had survived the centuries but had been falsified and like much of Christendom, had become corrupted and apostatized.
And, his description of the Temple, symbols and so on is completely false. Washings and annointings happened in OT times and also NT times as well. And, there is absolutely no worshipping of Satan anywhere in the Church or in the Temples. None, Nada. It doesn't exist. On each Temple is the words, "House of the Lord, Jesus Christ." Now, are there wicked people in the Church? Of course. It's a Church of the spiritually sick who want to get well. No none in the Church is perfect. I was in a 12 Stake Fireside at BYU with President Kimball speaking. The first thing he said was that he has much to repent of. And, at 83 years old, all we could do is say if he has to repent, the we all have a lot more to repent of. After I was baptized, I too met a General Authority in his Church office building office. Again, nothing stupid like this guy is saying happens. You can go onto the Church's website and listen to thousands of messages from many decades ago in which this clown was talking about and all you will hear is about how to be more like Jesus Christ and follow him. How to stay out of darkness of the devil and hold fast to the Iron Rod (scriptures like the Bible)
