What Do Vegans Eat For Thanksgiving?

According to this new podcast, some people eat lasagna. Hobie mentions it at the 14:14 mark of the clip. He claims that he is not a turkey fan. :) :) :)

God bless you and Mark and Hobie and Madison always!!!

Nothing is wrong with potatoes. It is how they are 'prepared' that is the question. A lot of people put butter and milk in their mashed potatoes, and the scallop-style potatoes often have cheese.

Couldn't they have mashed potatoes without milk and butter? That sounds pretty yucky to me but you could just mash the potatoes up without doing anything else if you wanted to.

Did you know that gelatin is made using bone marrow? They don't eat any gelatin at all.

Yes I did know that. I guess that leaves out Jell-O as well.

Uh, you know where you are, right? ;)

We're not a civil bunch.

I just wonder what the discussions around your Thanksgiving dinner table tomorrow will look like. Me personally, I leave the politics out of it for a reason.

We talk about the same things we talk about everytime we get together. The women all talk women's stuff, and the guys are usually watching the game until it's time to eat. Then afterward, it's back to catch the rest of the games.

As for how they prep the vegan food, I'm just making general statements. They seem to make food they like so I don't concern myself with it.

Mashed Potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, biscuits and baked beans.

Time to make the vegans happy. 😁

This movie also might be sort of preachy to me, but I also find it hilarious 😆 and cute. 🥰

Okay I might love to eat turkeys but eve I have to admit that they're pretty cute too. 🥰

Hopefully this can be a civil discussion because I don't mean any ill will towards them whatsoever I just got legitimately curious. I mean it's hard for me personally to picture Thanksgiving without turkey, but hey, whatever floats your boat. 😁

Seriously, it's a thing

I have had vegans at the table before. Thankfully not when I was doing part of the cooking. I do not know what they are. I didn't care. Last time it happened it was my youngest son's girlfriend. She didn't last long
