When the medical/industrial complex has us believing that it's normal to be sick?

"Yes, it is normal to get sick occasionally, as most healthy adults experience about two to three colds per year."

Frequency

Factors

  1. Immune System Health: A compromised immune system can lead to more frequent illnesses. Chronic health conditions, stress, and poor nutrition can weaken immune responses.
  2. Lifestyle Choices: Diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management play crucial roles in maintaining a strong immune system. A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals can help reduce the risk of illness.
  3. Environmental Factors: Seasonal changes and exposure to pathogens, especially during cold and flu season, can increase the likelihood of getting sick. s

While occasional sickness is normal, it is important to consult a healthcare provider if you experience:

I'm not sure what you are getting at here.

If we don't get sick, the medical industrial complex do not make their living.

I'm not sure what you are getting at here.
What I'm getting at is that doctors have deemed frequent illness as normal as they've never seen a truly healthy population. They should explore the means to good health instead of the status quo. Their jobs would be much easier, and likely just as profitable.

I've had my health issues, but I never get colds or the flu even though I'm exposed as are most people (I don't take annual flu shots either). As a grade schooler I was cited for near perfect attendance. I don't remember ever missing school while in high school. My brother and sister were often sick and missed many school days. My brother missed so many days due to illness that he had to repeat first grade. I was exposed to my sister's chicken pox once but never came down with it. However, the virus was in me and did cause shingles later in life, but that's a long story.

YOu do know what "average" means, right?

WTF do you think the quoted stuff in your OP is talking about?

Averages, that's what.

Totally relevant.
Most adults getting sick two or three times a year isn't "average". Maybe kids are unhealthier today because I don't recall any kids getting sick six or eight times per year. This may be contributing to the low achievement scores in many places.

If absenteeism by sickness is a problem for schools maybe classes should be suspended several times per year to break the cycle of sickness passed from kid to kid in school.

It isn't for you, but it is for population as a whole.

I rarely get sick more than once a year. I haven't had a cold in over three years.

I cared for my wife when she had COVID twice, and still, I didn't even get a sniffle.

But then, I'm not a dirty Democrat and I bathe frequently and wash My hands often.

Even so, if you have a doctor that just reaches for the scripts pad after diagnosing you instead of inquiring about your diet, then you need a differeent doctor.

All doctors think illness is normal.

All doctors think illness is normal.
Well, I can't speak for all doctors. But I can speak for a doctor who wants to give me a pill right out of the gate without looking into the underlying cause of the problem. Be it a diet, a disease, or a genetic mutation.

If your doctor is like most, then he is just a pill pusher for Big Pharma.

They are just on break now OP. ;)

In summary, while it is normal to get sick from time to time, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being aware of your body's signals can help manage your overall

Eat Right, Exercise Daily & DIE ANYWAY!!!!

I would rather live a short life that I enjoy than live for a thousand years eating cardboard and dirt. It’s just that simple.
