As a Canadian:What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
I have been asking myself that very question for decades and to date the only thing I can come up with is,,,What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
Quit taking my hard earned money and spending it on crap. What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
Well, keeping the planet habitable is a good start. What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
Don't screw up the best country on Earth. What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
Well, keeping the planet habitable is a good start.
How many do you think it will take?Excellent!
How many new nuclear plants should we build?
How many do you think it will take?
The government is a social apparatus organized to legislate (pass laws, establish the rules of society) govern, protect our rights, and manage our large-scale civil projects and national infrastructure. We need the government to protect and represent us diplomatically, and legally, through its courts of law, and law enforcement. So with that said, we the people determine what our government can and can't do, provided we're free and capable of doing so, by being politically literate and empowered by our rights and resources (an armed populace willing to protest, organize descent, provides some leverage when it negotiates its terms with the state). What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?
I don't see myself returning to the US. But back when I lived there, I was more concerned with the bigger longer term picture. Obviously prices were important. But the country is in serious trouble with its uncontrolled debt, and interventionism. They may seem like nebulous and abstract issues, but they'll have very very serious effects for future generations. What legislation do you need from government to make your life better?

Certain industries should be considered vital to our nation's infrastructure, like energy/electricity, utilities. That should be managed by the government and the profits should be reinvested into those publicly owned companies, to create jobs and support operations. Public utilities usually cost less and provide better services than privately owned, for-profit utility companies.
If we lived in a modern, civil society, we wouldn't allow this shit:
We shouldn't allow homelessness in America or people using hard drugs, hurting themselves and their communities. Every member of society has obligations and responsibilities, one of them is to not knowingly poison yourself with drugs, which will by default hurt your family, neighbors, friends, your community and country. We all have responsibilities as citizens of the USA, towards our fellow-man. Cain in the Bible, asked God when asked where his brother Abel was, "Am I my brother's keeper?", the answer is YES, you are.

Contractual Requirements: Many states require businesses seeking government contracts to certify that they are not participating in boycotts against Israel. This certification is often a prerequisite for eligibility to enter into contracts with state agencies.
Investment Restrictions: Some states prohibit public investment funds from investing in companies that engage in boycotts against Israel. This approach focuses on the investment strategies of state-managed funds, ensuring they do not support entities involved in BDS activities.
The specific requirements and enforcement mechanisms vary by state. For instance, certain states mandate that businesses sign explicit certifications renouncing participation in BDS as a condition for state contracts.

Wake-Up & Smell The Coffee, America's government is currently: ZOG - Zionist Occupied Government.
Capitalism/Capitalists must serve the country. The priority of capitalism is not profits, but service to the community, providing it with goods and services. Jewish-Zionist capitalism is profit-oriented, vs European, German capitalism = Nationalist, in service to the country, not the profits of a few wealthy elitists, at everyone else's expense.
Jewish Communism/Marxist Bolshivism and Jewish-run capitalism destroy the world, but a community-oriented, nationalist capitalism, that respects private property provided it prioritizes serving the country, increases the wealth and power of nations. That's why Germany in the 1930s became the wealthiest, most productive, and most powerful nation in Europe, if not the Earth, thanks to National Socialism (Capitalism serving the country).
