I think we all should to some extent.

It needs to be said, that investment amount doesn't make the powerful military. The use of A.I and drones is the future. I guarantee you that in the not to distant future there will be ground forces that are entirely robotic, A.I based.

Both have modern military equipment and are experienced in modern warfare. They train with NATO forces which gives them an edge over other militaries on your list

the taliban is still #1, having kicked total ass out of 2 superpowers

vietnam, also defeated a super power soundly and polished off top contender france deserves a shot at the championship

the koreans. north and south. are tough little bastards don't under estimate them.

what would you figure the point spread in russia vs ukraine. at 6/5 i might bet ukraine. a lot to say about "home field advantage" in these games

who has the geopolitical "high ground?" russia and china are spacefareing nations, unlike earthworm shitholes who don't even use the metric system. maybe space force has a few shuttles hidden on the dark side of the moon to go with the nifty uniforms.

If you look at measurable things like numbers of soldiers, tanks, helicopters, aircraft…..Russia ranks high

But when you see that their leaders are inept, soldiers poorly trained and motivated, equipment poorly designed and maintained and almost nonexistent logistics …….Russia is barely top 10
