This question drove the public nuts. Can you define alternative facts? Didn't it commence when the discussion of crowd size at the first Trump innaugeration took place? Suddenly we learned supposedly from the media, about alternative facts. To keep in mind we expect this to keep happening. It won't go away because the media won't go away. It will spin things till you think we are on Mars.

So watch this video and start thinking about alternative facts.

If a statement of fact by a pol, or any public servant, is scientifically proven to be false, then one of two things results: the person subtly changes his opinions (Robert Byrd or Obama on gay marriage) OR the person bases his facts upon repeatable studies by professionals showing the falsehood.

However, with situations like Ukraine or Syria or what the gop may do fiscally in short order .... the facts are simply not subject to scientific proof.

Often Democrats scream about FOX News. So their alternative facts come from reporters on, for instance, CBS or MSNBC. And yet the media does not screech alternative facts about those two examples nor the others who chase after say Trump trying to paint him as a liar. When a media says Trump lied 30,000 times, do you see alternative facts claiming he seldom lies, but does have the habit of bragging?

Kellyanne Conway is the one who first used the term in major media.

"Alternate facts" means critical thinking does not count, buddy, just believe what you want. They are only opinions.

Honestly, it is all about what people can MAKE you believe, facts be damned.

Joseff Goebbels would be proud of these people, since most of what they do is....PROPAGANDA!

Alternative facts are ideologically-based wishes. The old expression was "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?".

Ask the marxists who do "fact checks" on opinions they don't like.

Consider virtually everything you believe about the current state of politics in the US. Those are alternative facts.
Notice on YouTube how when the topic is political, somebody at YouTube posts their own version.

Example below. Suddenly the site decided to chip in what Wikipedia said. Below is the analysis by me.

January 6 United States Capitol attack

Wikipedia • On January 6, 2021, the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., was attacked by a mob of supporters of then president Donald Trump in an attempted self-coup d'état, two months after his defeat in the 2020 presidential election.

Analysis by Robert follows:
First of all, it was not attacked. Can you attack doors, stairs, concrete places? Were they a mob? They happened to all be there supporting Trump. But notice the media never calls a million of democrats having a hissy fit in a city area a mob. Why not?
There was no coup. A coup happened in Syria. A coup shows armed humans gathering and shooting. None of that took place at the capitol. Around 6 exterior windows got broke. Why? Because the other windows were put there after 911 with bomb proof windows. The alleged defeat is wild given that Trump led that race with Biden until mail in votes were mysteriously added. And video of workers screwing with ballots was widely seen.

You mean when the MSM took a picture of the crowd 6 hours BEFORE the inauguration and screamed...LOOK AT HOW FEW PEOPLE SHOWED UP!!!
