Whaaaaaattttt!? SNL Is Actually Funny Again!????

Because I am a regular person. Let me ask you something. Did you hear what Trump said about Reiner? Is that a regular person? Or does Trump act like us here when we are being horrible to each other?

I admit, that wasn't really in good taste for Trump to say that, but on the other hand have you seen and heard what Reiner has said about him? Anyways, this thread isn't about Trump though.

One of my favorites of all time. Debbie Downer at Disney World:

The thing is that wouldn't be as half as funny if the cast wasn't losing it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here is who I think could be huge someday. And they are funny now. But SNL has to realize their greatness and figure out more recurring characters for them to play. Like Will Farrell or Kristen Whig or Eddie Murphy, the whole show revolved around them. Chris Farley, who else?

I think there is one cast member who could be that person and that's Sarah Sherman

I unsubscribed from their YouTube channel a while back because I was sick of how they were constantly politicizing everything and then I saw these recent clips. I found them equally hilarious and it's just pure comedy without their agenda. Oh and I apologize ahead of time to any Donnas on here. Especially if they work or have worked for UPS. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

That UPS was hysterical. I don't watch SNL its just not funny anymore but the UPS vid was good.

Fact: Did you know UPS trucks have no heating or air? :P

No I didn't know that but IKR? Ya'all take care now. 😁

"Come on Donna!! Stop pretending to faint Donna!!" As she slowly pushes herself towards the door. 💀

At 60, of course I will believe the 70s-80s SNL is the best.
Because I was young and the culture of the show is obviously youth oriented.
Now - I am not familiar with today's youth culture, so a lot of the humor is off or just not funny. They may mention names or make cultural references that I am not aware of what they are.

they are trying........I have not watched a full SNL in so many years but I do watch their weekend update on youtube and it's very good, especially when jost and che write racist stuff for each to read.....that is what we need, using race for comedy, not for scorn or to be mean

the cologuard skit with woody is freaking hilarious, I've watched it a few times and it still make me laugh

come on, go inside me........I like it

the female one, come on daddy, blow that box wide open

There were many other sketch comedy shows, but they're all long gone. That may indicate a diminished market for sketch comedy. SNL may have been told to start making something watchable or clean out their desks.

I haven't watched it recently, partly because I don't have cable. I could buy an antenna for local channels, but they don't seem worth the money. I remember SNL being particularly awkward with the actors all facing the audience instead of holding plausible dialogue positions. And then in Weekend Update, the part where facing the audience works, they failed at basic joke delivery.

If it has improved, then the complete episodes will eventually be available somewhere.
