So, instead of covering the news impartially whether they like it or not, journalists can apply their own biases and filter out the stuff they don't like? And that's okay? I get it, they're people too with their own pov but if you're going to do that job properly then shouldn't you be putting aside your own biases? No doubt this has been going on since the beginning of journalism, but it appears to be getting more pronounced. Or maybe the public just didn't know until recently how much they were being lied to or misinformed.
