West Point investigating cadets' raised-fists photo
The women have their fists raised in the BLM salute. They claim it meant unity and nothing political, but that is pretty hard to believe. They should know that they cannot show any public display of their political views while in uniform. I am guessing they'll get away with showing support for the radical BLM group because officials will fear accusations of racism if they treat these cadets like they would every other cadet.
If they hadn't been in uniform, it wouldn't be an issue. But they are and that means no taking a stand on any issue.
If this was a group of whites, they're military careers would be ended. So, should West Point follow the rules, like they would for every other cadet, or will they be pressured into being politically correct?
