'I think Biden did a really good job. He came out. He was very clear as to what his message was. And he proved that he's not too old for the job,' said Kenneth Royal, a 42-year-old running for county commissioner in Dekalb County.
The party boasted an open bar - a food spread with tacos, chicken tenders and pie - and an energetic deejay, who blasted top tunes from a table adorned with a giant pair of aviator sunglasses, after the 90-minute showdown wrapped.

Democrats should put Biden back in his basement until the election is over. The more he campaigns the worse it gets. Obama's staff has been running the executive office from the start and doing a lousy job.
Did his handlers juice Joe too long or too much?
Overall, Biden's performance at the debate on Thursday evening was worse than bad.

Democrats were openly panicking Friday over President Biden’s debate performance, with allies wondering out loud whether he should remain the Democratic Party’s nominee in the November election.
From lawmakers to members of the pundit class, calls for Dems to consider an alternative candidate began right after Thursday night’s debate between Biden and Donald Trump in Atlanta ended.
“I’m not the only one whose heart is breaking right now. There’s a lot of people who watched this tonight and felt terribly for Joe Biden,” former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill said on MSNBC. “I don’t know if things can be done to fix this.”

The only realistic way Biden could be replaced at the top of the ticket would be if he himself decided to step aside, observers noted. That could lead to a move to make Vice President Kamala Harris his replacement, but could also turn into an ugly political food fight between party factions at the Democratic National Convention in early August.
On Thursday night, Biden looked and sounded frail, losing his train of thought during several key moments. He also failed to take advantage of Trump’s glaring missteps like when the former president downplaying his role in the Jan. 6 attack.

Commentary:
Immediately after the debate thursday night and well into Friday CNN Talking heads all lamented the performance of Joe Biden.
Staunch Democrats like Van Jones, Axlerod etc., were all in Panic Mode.
At least some Democrats are waking up to the fact that you cannot defend the indefensible.
