“We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come.”

All he has to do is say it, and they believe it.

Less than 50% of the vote is a mandate. A 1.5% margin is a mandate. Okay.
How many chairmanships in the house do you have? 0. Majority in the Senate? 0. President, nope. SCOTUS majority? Nope.

0 power in DC…That’s what you have….Moron.

Trump isn't going to end the war in one day and I never believed he would. He needs to reign in China though.
By inviting Xi his inauguration?

The White House is for sale...............AGAIN.

Trump is a traitor and always has been.

They are responsible for so much harm to economies and the health of citizens around the world. That must be his focus. China has the largest imbalance of trade export to import in the history of the world.. Their communist system didnt change, they just became a pariah to the rest of the world.

Social security is money deducted from a person's paycheck and they must work at least 40 quarters to qualify. So people are getting the money back that was saved for them by the government. So what you young folk are actually doing is working for your own retirement. However social security is a socialist idea and these anti socialist right-wing senior citizens show how ignorant they are each time they call themselves dissing someone as a socialist. They don't want their medicare taken and that's another socialist policy. But right-wingers are idiots and that's why they will be cheering tomorrow as trump signs executive orders that will more than likely mess up this country.
So people are getting the money back that was saved for them by the government.

No sir, that's not how it works. There is no account for you in the FED with your name on it, and all of the money that the government supposedly saved for your retirement. That's a MAGA fable. The only reason that society makes you work and pay a % of your salary to Social Security, is because they want you to be productive, creating, delivering, goods and services. It takes your money to control inflation and maintain the value of the USD. A nation with a sovereign fiat currency, only taxes to control inflation and maintain the value of the dollar. If you want Social Security you have to be productive/work, producing goods and services, contributing to the nation's GDP for "40 quarters" or whatever society deems appropriate. Watch this:

Paul Ryan ignorantly thinks that there might be a liquidity problem with Social Security and Greenspan, who in many ways is an adherent of the Austrian School Of Economics, and supported Milton Friedman's "free-market" ideals, corrects him, letting him know that the government can just print money and pay everyone their monthly pensions, that's not the issue. The "problem" or the challenge, is to make sure that everyone who is receiving that cash, will have the goods and services available for them to buy.

That's the challenge, and that's why you and I have to work, and pay into the system, ensuring that we are producing goods and services, for the marketplace. That is the only reason that you and I have to "pay in" to Social Security.

Sir, there is no Social Security savings account for you in the FED, that is used in the future when you begin collecting Social Security. If you are paid ten times more than you paid "into the system" for your Social Security, when you were younger and in the workforce, you will nonetheless, continue receiving those payments. You can be 99 years old, or 119, and you've been paid triple, or quadruple, the amount of money that you paid into the system, and that's perfectly fine. You're never going to run out of Social Security money.

Social Security is an entitlement, that society gives to its seniors, people's parents and grandparents, when they get older. You know the people that brought us into this world, housed us, fed us, changed our diapers when we were babies and they loved us, raised us, we've decided that they're more than worthy to be taken care of when they're older. Let them rest, they've been working all of their lives, let's take care of them. Social Security, Medicare..etc. There's no savings account, at the FED they're withdrawing from for their Social Security or Medicare.

Yes it does, unfortunately.

The product of decades of Cold War brainwashing leads most baby boomers and many of their GenX children to vote against their own interests.

But most Millinials and Zoomers, lean to the left, and if Trump's right-wing, neoliberal-capitalist agenda doesn't significantly improve the lives of regular, working-class people, within the next 4 years, then Republicans are politically toast in 2028. The Millenials and Zoomers are going to eat right-wing Republican politicians and their wealthy donors, alive at the ballot box. Politically you're all going to get wiped out and deleted. So you better deliver economically and otherwise, lowering the cost of living and the price of medications, increasing good-paying jobs..etc, or you're gone, politically. Politically extinct.

Who won?

I like how you don’t want to answer the question.
I don't deal in hypotheticals. Ask a question that has a provable answer and you'll get all the answers you want. If you preface your question with IF, it is not a question that deserves an answer. You're welcome for the education.

Serious projection

You don’t like setting expectations because you know Trump won’t deliver on them.

Biden didn't leave a very high bar and he definitely DIDN'T MEET ANY EXPECTATIONS. LOL, you must be very disappointed. Did you vote for Trump?
Trump set his own bar when he ran on lowering prices very quickly.

Get back to me in a hundred days, moron. Until then you can speculate until your voice is hoarse from all of your useless howling. BTW, what do you think about the Biden crime family now that he has PARDONED THE WHOLE FAMILY. WTF did they do that they needed to be pardoned for? Answer that question--it doesn't deal in hypotheticals.

Sure. Lots of prairie is counted there. Not people. Mandates come off people, not prairie.
You either know very little about how American politics work, are you are just a liar.

My experience with you suspects that you know, you just lie.

“We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come.”

I'd ask "In what world?" While Trump is known to exaggerate and bloviate (he himself called his way of speaking Truthful Hyperbole), this one caught my attention. As I'm sure the attention of lots of people who are not susceptible to being managed and culled by an entertainer like Trump (Trump says his insulting remarks toward women were for ‘entertainment’).

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump used one last rally on the eve of his inauguration to again celebrate his election victory, declaring Sunday, “We won” to a crowd celebrating his return to the White House and projecting defiant optimism despite deep national political divisions.

“Tomorrow, at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand-new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride,” Trump told supporters, adding, “We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come.”

Reality: no mandate. When half or even less than half of voters support a candidate, I'd hardly claim the winning candidate possess a mandate.

Fact: There is no new American majority. Not in reality. Many of the Trump voters in 2024, are not even on board with the MAGA crowd.
I don't understand. Have you totally forgotten that Trump will declare himself dictator on day one, taking democracy away, and eliminating elections? Dictators have a defacto mandate.

As a fascist democrat, you know all there is to know on that subject, eh? I am glad the American constitution was designed to defeat the likes of you.
Nope. I know nothing of the sort. I don’t believe in it or support those who do.

But you do.

If Trump doesn’t quickly bring down costs (as he said he would during the campaign) will he be a failure?
Sure. But if he does. . . would you admit you are wrong?

Depends on what you mean by “he does”. I’ve never been one of those individuals who believes the president is responsible for everything.

If the economy goes into a recession, it’s very possible if not likely that costs go down. It wouldn’t necessarily be because he does something. That’s just an example.

You first have to have a reasonable explanation as to what causes prices to go down as it relates to policy.

Of course, that’s just common sense.

You want prices to go up. Why is that?
