Good for you. I can lower the rent for a while if you're having trouble.

Unfortunately electoral votes aren't actual voters. I'd be saying the same if Harris had won the electoral college but only had a 1.5% margin in the popular vote. Sad fact of life for Maga using this argument o support trump.
Electoral votes are representative of the vote in the US without the undue advantage of high population centers. ICYDK, there have been presidents elected in this century who have not won the popular vote.

The Electoral college is a contruct of our voting system. It's not a direct representation of the general voting public.

No one is arguing that Trump didn't win the election. You see how easy that was. You should try it sometime when a democrat wins. All I'm saying is, it's not a mandate and it never will be.

You don't know anything you haven't been told to think.

Tell me, are prices going to come down very quickly like Trump said they would?
Well, we shall see. One thing I do know, is dems have little to no power, so as your boy Obama said, “get to the back of the bus”… :itsok:

That’s not going to stop the pathetic president from blaming Dems for his incompetence.

“We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come.”

I'd ask "In what world?" While Trump is known to exaggerate and bloviate (he himself called his way of speaking Truthful Hyperbole), this one caught my attention. As I'm sure the attention of lots of people who are not susceptible to being managed and culled by an entertainer like Trump (Trump says his insulting remarks toward women were for ‘entertainment’).

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump used one last rally on the eve of his inauguration to again celebrate his election victory, declaring Sunday, “We won” to a crowd celebrating his return to the White House and projecting defiant optimism despite deep national political divisions.

“Tomorrow, at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand-new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride,” Trump told supporters, adding, “We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come.”

Reality: no mandate. When half or even less than half of voters support a candidate, I'd hardly claim the winning candidate possess a mandate.

Fact: There is no new American majority. Not in reality. Many of the Trump voters in 2024, are not even on board with the MAGA crowd.
Love this great man. He's absolutely right. He won with a strong mandate. When the leftwing says you won by 1.5%, that means you won by 10% with the layers of hidden cheating going on for decades at the polls.

What you’re doing? I agree
You’re going to go from “Dems have almost no power” to “Dems are ruining everything” as soon as you need to find a scapegoat for Trump’s failure.

I'd ask "In what world?"
In trumpworld, where reality is bent to the will of Dear Leader.

Election results don’t support Trump’s claims of a landslide and mandate

President-elect Donald Trump and his allies have exaggerated his victory since the November election, claiming a “landslide” win and a sweeping mandate despite having prevailed relatively narrowly — assertions Trump continued to press during a pre-inauguration rally in Washington.

“We achieved the most epic political victory our country has ever seen,” Trump told supporters Sunday at Capital One Arena.

Such claims are not supported by the election results, which show a starkly divided electorate and a historically slim win by Trump. His margin of victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the national popular vote — 1.5 percentage points — is the smallest of any president who secured a popular-vote win since Richard M. Nixon in 1968.
