Several different projects like re screening the pool area, refurbishing the sprinkler system, painting etc. The people I called re willing to do the work but there is quite a waiting list because the contractors are having a hard time getting help because of the stupid unemployment insurance and stimulus payments.

At least DeSantis is trying to address the problem. he is taking a lot of people off the dole by requiring that they are prove that they can't find work before getting the money. They must be actively looking for employment. You see help wanted signs every where you go.

There must be a bigger, more devious reason to encourage welfare than COVID.

Two things that seem plausible are:
1) Get more people to vote Democrat. Sending people money for doing nothing is a sure-fire way to win votes.
2) Keep CO2 emissions low. If everything is opened up, carbon emissions will increase dramatically. Of course, the Climate Change mantra is also used in an attempt to get people to vote Democrat and install Socialism.

On the schools, teachers will vote Dem regardless. But if we totally destroy public education, as we have done, all of these under-educated youth are also more likely to eventually vote Democrat.

China is loving our response to COVID. Prices are up, making them more competitive. Our youth are getting dumber, doing the same. People are getting fat, lazy, and addicted to both intoxicating substances and government handouts.

Every time Biden speaks fondly of his time spent with President Xi, which he does frequently, I cringe.

Helping out new parents with childcare ? How about people planing their families (not the lie of the so called planned Parenthood either), but the parents themselves having a valid pre-planned process in which brings the child into the world responsibly and securely. Otherwise quit with the damned out of control lust and sex that causes unwanted pregnancies or make sure that the pill or other birth control methods are used. The government should offer free sterilization surgeries on the house to anyone the age 18 and up that wants one. Especially targeting ghettos and inner cities and poor areas. That would help some of our problems atleast.

People are following the science. They’re not going back to work because they have no childcare. They have no childcare because the schools are not yet safe to open because Donald Trump didn’t give the schools any money to open.

This has nothing to do with the government paying people to stay home. Employers are not providing safe work places. What few childcare spaces there were before the pandemic have disappeared or completely booked.

You spent a year not dealing with the pandemic and this is the result. You let Donald Trump destroy your economy. Well it wasn’t destroyed overnight and it won’t be rebuilt overnight.
