I am not a fan of this movie. Never really was. To me, it is way overacted, riddled with cliche's and not one of Pacino's finest moments.
Sorry - but I could not possibly put this movie in the same paragraph as Goodfellas and Casino
But Jimmy did not flood 20 million criminals into the country
For clarity - I am not a huge fan of Pacino, he is one of the most over-rated actors in Hollywood. He was very good in Godfather. Also good in Scent of a Woman... but too many of his roles he is too damn cliche'.I agree , it’s a big step down !!

Take Heat - love the movie, but Pacino is put to shame by DeNiro's and Kilmer's performances. Completely out classed.
Carlito's way is okay, nothing to write home about.
Donnie B is better, and one of Pacino's better performances.
