I watched it, but his policy discussion was clearly less detailed than when he was running. No discussion of confronting China, tariffs or the like.

He spoke primarily of red meat subjects, "get women out of mens sports, get rid of DEI and woke agenda". He repeated it over again. Musk didn't seem comfortable all of a sudden at the mic, didn't have much to say.

It will be one of two things, a very dominant America for four years or a very tepid one with little change in the trajectory of Americas greatest enemies. Rubio received one of the loudest applauses, so clearly his supporters know what Rubio represents when confronting China.

Musk may learn that Trump will not bend to his promises, or, Trump will bend far more than anyone expected.
