Why do people whine about the fact we feed more poor people, more hungry people, more disabled people, more veterans, more seniors and more children better today than we did under the last administration? Should we feel guilty about doing the right thing as a nation? And what makes conservatives such mean-spirited grumpy people.

What has the white house done for the economy, leave oil and gas out,he hasn't done spit there

It's not that we do,its why,rather simple

...you mean by pointing out that the job participation rate, which is not included in the unemployment rate, is the lowest in 38 years while unemployment, welfare, and food stamp numbers are 'inexplicably' still at near-record highs! ...or how unemployment for Hispanics is 6.3% and unemployment for Blacks - during a black President's term in office - is double that of whites (4.4% compared to 9.2%)?

We give many the bait and the fishing pole, and the refuse to put the bait on the hook and fish for dinner, its bad trend for a strong healthy society.

My post began with the word why. Thanks for the stupid answer, but it did not answer the question I asked.

Somebody needs to tell these folks it's good news.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: "Only 271,000 Jobs Were Added Last Month"

Fox & Friends co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Steve Doocy stumbled through a segment on the Bureau of Labor Statistics' (BLS) job creation estimate for October 2015, which showed the largest monthly jobs gain of 2015, attempting to minimize the significance of a strong monthly report that beat most analyst expectations.

On November 6, the BLS released its monthly jobs report for October showing that the U.S. added 271,000 jobs last month, easily beating analyst expectations en route to the largest monthly jobs gain of 2015. Within minutes of the release, Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy portrayed the news in an uneventful light while co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck lamented that the economy created "only 271,000 jobs."

Contrary to Fox's clumsy framing, on CNN the jobs report was introduced as "frankly, a 'wow,'" by New Day co-host John Berman, and correspondent Christine Romans described net new job creation for October as "much stronger than expected." Fox & Friends has a history of disparaging positive jobs reports, with Hasselbeck once glossing over strong job creation in February 2015 to focus on a slight increase in the unemployment rate.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK (CO-HOST): That's right, Steve. Only 271,000 new jobs were added last month. That is up from September as well. Analysts were expecting more than 180,000 jobs for October.

Wow, either it was killing them to say it or their teleprompters were malfunctioning.
"Only....271,000 new jobs" That Hasselbeck is just a Fox whore.

198K of the new jobs were part time, and the absolute number of unemployed people remained flat.

So, what Obamanomics is doing is creating part time jobs for new entrants to the workforce. Young people graduated with tons-o-student debt are finding PART TIME jobs. Hopenchange!

You guys keep pointing out this "low job participation rate" and you keep FAILING to mention in that rate are retirees, cripples and the mentally insane.

Feel free, get those damned folks out of their retirement homes, wheel chairs and institutions and back on the assembly line!

Man, Obama is the worst job killer ever. Totally incompetent

Year in and year out private sector job growth....most oil production in this country history, but somehow he's a jobs killer!
Hey dumba$$ those oil jobs have nothing to do with federal government, those oil leases are all on private property, the federal government has no influence up here in the Dakotas.

question for left-wing nubjobs;

how did we get this "awesome" economy these happy days without:
1. single-payer health insurance?

2. a $15/hour national minimum wage?
3. without Democrats having a majority of the US government?
4. without about a dozen 'jobs bills" Democrats didnt have a plan to pay for?

enquiring minds want to know!

You might be right.
When was this better?

So you're claiming the Keystone pipeline would produce no US jobs, despite the studies and reports that say otherwise?
