Watch and react to polls or commit to the long-term mission?

So what's your point. I said I don't believe polls.

What I do believe is that Trump can hurt himself. You can do the RIGHT thing in the WRONG way. But, he's not calling me for advice so I hope he's successful.
yet you state you're influenced from DC. I have no idea what that means.

I still think something was very wrong with 2020, but if there was a coverup, it's still holding.

I'm less inclined to think steal and think more like it was botched. But I don't follow it that closely since my opinion means nothing.

The point is, Trump was out by hook or by crook and it can happen again (more likely by crook, but if he's pissed enough people off, it won't matter).

My statement was based on what I see happening in D.C. It's those folks (the reporters and congressliars)....not polls of people in Wyoming.

And I don't like what I see.

Hope that helps.

What triggers them are polls

Stupid stuff?

I don't mind tariffs.

I think we need to deport a lot of people.

I think we need DOGE.

But you can do the RIGHT thing in the WRONG way.

Most of my conservative friends all agree he isn't doing himself any favors. They want done what he is doing.

But in the case of one of them who is married to lefty.....he's getting his rear end kicked every night and that isn't necessary.

A jobs report that beat expectations by a mile and a rebounding stock market must have libs all pissed off today huh?

I see liberals and conservatives are thoughtful folks who have sense in not wishing ill against our leaders or taking pleasure in bad news for the sake of politics. The situation you describe is the game of the partisan Democrat and Republican mental midgets.

There’s a very simple very obvious distinction to be made…nearly all of one party’s policies are destructive for America on their face while the other party’s policies are all very clearly aimed to benefit America/Americans.
Do you make that distinction?

I take each issue on its own, I don't concern myself with what any side takes. The hypocrisy of both sides is too much for me to take them seriously. And whether either political side is happy or pissed, I can't see reason for that to be any concern of mine.

Getting back to the commitment to tariffs, the economic reports such as today's provide answers to what path the situation takes. The influence of media is overblown in my view. Sugar coating bad news and downplaying good news isn't going to supplant a voter's own personal experience.

That’s a-lot of words…I’m asking you and not the “sides”….Which core Democrat policies are clearly favorable for America/Americans?
Which core Republican policies are clearly not favorable for America/Americans?
Have you noticed that questions such as these ALWAYS get side-stepped by fence-sitters…why do you think that is?

Why don't you make a list of what you think those core policies are.

I think you'll find that many democrats are unhappy with their party because of the co-opting of the platforms by the likes of Obama, Warren, Sanders and AOC. Many are much much more moderate.

I will tell you that NEITHER party comes close to practicing, much less espousing the principles of the TENTH AMENDMENT.

George Bush and his drunken sailor congress threw away a key opportunity. They blew it (and in my estimation they take most of the blame for our current deficit situation).

You are good with the federal government spending 25% of GDP. That is well beyond anything Reagan or other would have imagined possible.

And how about those wars ? I was against them from the start. Dick Cheney who I used to truly admire really let me down in that one. And his famous "deficits don't matter" comment really sealed it for me. What a bummer.

And this is legal immigration.

55% want it reduced.

Only 18% want it increased.

That means a lot of democrats are not for increased LEGAL IMMIGRATION.

And when it comes to the border....

A majority of 55% approve of Trump’s job performance on border security (40% disapprove), making it his only net positive rating. Almost all Republicans (90%), a large minority of independents (44%) and a quarter of Democrats (24%) approve of his handling of the border.

Not to shabby.
