What better way to spend your taxpayer's dollars than to spend years and years tying up hundreds of thousands of man-hours demanding countless documents blowing upwards of a quarter million dollars investigating a gun right lobby for impropriety only to conclude there was never anything there to begin with?
WHOOPS.
They had to supply everything they had from banking records to everything in their files and all the TV radio ads they ran, and all correspondence with supporters and vendors. They turned over probably close to 20,000 document and they subpoenaed everybody they do business with.
