‘The Washington Post, the New York Times, the Atlantic, the Guardian U.S., Newsmax and others have spurned the Pentagon’s new press restrictions ahead of its Monday deadline.

Matt Murray, the D.C. paper’s executive editor, said the restrictions proposed by the Pete Hegseth-led Pentagon placed “unnecessary restrictions” on the reporting process.

“We will continue to vigorously and fairly report on the policies and position of the Pentagon and officials across the government,” Murray said in a statement.’

Trump, Hegseth, the rest of the Trump regime are of course enemies of the First Amendment.

Demanding that reporters publish only information authorized for public release by the Pentagon is a clear violation of freedom of the press.

Hey Clayton Bot operator: How about that President Trump getting the hostages released and M.E. leaders signing a peace agreement??? Great stuff right??? :113:

So the MSM will no longer be able roam the halls of the Pentagon like they do congress getting little snippets of info to blow all out of proportion.

Good.....That's how you keep secrets, secret. ;)

The SoW is basically putting things back to what they were like in WW-2.

Ahhh... The Washington Compost and the New York Slimes. They just used their First Amendment rights to publish that. So, what is it they do not have? BRAINS!

Reporters are free to do their own investigations, the first amendment protects them from censorship, it doesn’t mandate the DoD provide information to lazy reporters.

Being part of the press does not grant you free access to wherever you like. They're still free to say what they want, but that doesn't mean they have the right to go as they please. Nothing in the first amendment guarantees that.

The reporters should turn their back until reasonable men occupy the Drunk Sergeant's job.

We need the Chinese to build our defense hardware. Naval ships and Air Force aircraft at a much cheaper price and value for the dollar.
