Having been through many "massive" playoffs in my spotted career, I would say that the true test of this gambit will come when "we" see if there is any difference in the quality of the work product. Many organizations are stripped of what they previously deemed "critical" staff, and six months later, nobody knows what those people were doing, or why.
The Washington Post was the news outlet for the millions of government teat-suckers who live in the DC and NOVA areas...employees, "consultants," contractors, and other hangers on. They are overwhelmingly Leftist in their viewpoints, and saw the Post as an unbiased source of information and news. It wasn't.
Should anyone outside DC give a shit? I'm not sure why. Broadsheet newspapers are a dying business model.
