Here's a calming and nostalgic look at our Capitol back in the 1940s. Nobody sleeping on the sidewalks. No drive by shootings. No knife attacks or sucker punches. Nobody forcing their way onto the bus insisting that they should ride for free. No butt-cheeks oozing out from under tight, undersized Spandex. No graffiti. Nobody toppling historic statues.

Just civilization in action.

This can return, the problem is that wealthy donors run the show now and the race to the bottom destroyed the Middle Class.

I saw this in 2003. I won't forget where I was or what I was reading, but I had a visceral shock through my bones when I realized that Communist China was going to win.

There have been moment I thought this might change, Trump being the biggest possible person to defy corporations and Wall Street interests. I'm not sure I have that same faith anymore that the inevitable won't occur.

The truth is, the West has been destroyed internally though MSS has a very big hand in it so they deserve full marks. The problem is, we made it very easy for them.

Now, overloaded with the Third World.

Historians will look back in stupor at 20th and 21st century Americans who believed the magnificent republic they inherited would be enriched by bringing in scores of millions from the failed states of the Third World. ~ Pat Buchanan
