The “world” has been playing second fiddle for decades. They are gullible, idealistic globalists. Who cares what those losers think? They should be taking pointers from us, not the other way around. Trump is trying to save Western Europe from themselves, much like parents do when their children continue to make bad decisions. Children tend to be obstinate, which explains much of the pushback.

Climate change hype that fuels unnecessarily expensive, less efficient sources of energy and unfettered immigration are huge net negatives to any country. That should be obvious, but the idealistic indoctrinated crowd are incapable of acknowledging it.
It is that condescending view that turns the world against us

The view that they need us and we don’t need them.
The world has choices and it doesn’t need to be us. Trump is leaving a power void that China is anxious to fill.

Right now, China is looking like the adult in the room. More dependable, more consistent, less drama

Now personally I believe that Hillary and Bill Clinton are in trouble. I believe that George Soros is in trouble. I believe that some extremely wealthy and powerful people are in big trouble because President Trump is in power.
Trump uses his Justice Dept to go after his political opponents.
HIs problem is that even though his Justice lawyers tell him he has no case, he orders them to prosecute anyway.

HIs cases don’t go far and his Justice Dept looks foolish

In my opinion President Trump rather brilliantly used the threat of tariffs to get rid of Canada's Worst Ever Prime Minister. President Trump did us Canadians a huge favour. In my opinion, P. M. Justin Trudeau threw all Canadians under the bus in the way that he approached the C o v i d 1 9 pandemic. It was like he sold all forty one million of us to the BigPharma companies.

Evidently the flock is being told that Trump really impressed everyone in Davos, and is viewed around the world as the bearer of peace, strength, stability and prosperity.

And those insults he launched at our former friends, former allies and their military? Well, he was just speaking The Truth. I'm sure they don't mind.

Oh well. Alternate universe. Par for the course.

Canada just canceled their order for F 35 fighters.
Not because they are mad at Trump but because Sweden offered better options with more autonomy and less strings attached.

Yeah, but Trump won't let Carney be part of the cool kids Peace Club!

So take THAT, Canada!

The documentary "Why Big Oil Conquered the World" referred to the fact that one of Al Gore's professors was part of a group who wanted to link the price and supply of oil to the fiat currencies of the biggest economies.

A Carbon Tax does that at the same time that it gives the wealthiest of the wealthy an excuse to limit ordinary people to driving short distances.

A Carbon Tax sets the stage for depopulation exactly as Bill Gates explained in his lecture "Innovating to zero." If I were Bill I would have refused to read the script to that lecture but..... I guess all those trips to Epstein Island turned him into a slave to those who had the video footage!

Like Groucho Marx said……I would not want to belong to any club that would have me as a member.

Legitimate countries don’t want to participate in a “Peace Club” being run by Putin and Trump

It seems to me that P. M. Mark Carney wants to prove that he is smarter and cooler and more enlightened than President Trump and everybody else. It also seems to me that he is shooting himself in the foot and is beginning to rival P. M. Justin Trudeau for the role of Worst Ever Prime Minister of Canada!

I believe that P. M. Mark Carney made an astonishingly unwise decision to seem to go totally against what President Trump plans for the next phase of The Abraham Accords. I do believe that his time as Canada's P. M. are rapidly drawing to a close and the way that he is going he could well leave Canada's Liberal Party in an even lower level than Mr. Michael Ignatieff did by 2011?

Carney made the point that we need to do just that.

Pandering to a bully only encourages him. MId sized countries need to unite to resist autocrats. Davos proved that while Trump can bully countries one at a time but if they provide a united front, he will back down.

That is what Trump did.

Was the Trump speech to World Economic Forum one of his best ever?

I can no longer listen to the man and his Kindergarten-level vocabulary. I'll assume, though, that he spent 50% of his speech boasting about his accomplishments and patting himself on the back; 25% of his speech threatening other nations; 12.5% of his speech making false promises that he doesn't intend to keep; and the remaining 12.5% of his speech praising Benjamin Netanyahu and Miriam Adelson (America's pretend "greatest allies").

That actually sounds like a pretty good recipe for an effective speech if you ask me? Especially considering who the speech was given to.

Exactly. Your hyperbole holds no weight. If we were that bad, you wouldn’t be able to stand it and you’d move. Obviously we aren’t that bad.. and you care too much about what others think. We’re more respected now under Trump, clearly. Not warm and fuzzy, but respected. You can’t walk on us like you used to
