My son plays a little bit in the markets, he has one of those Robinhood accounts. He told me last evening that his oil company stocks jumped ridiculously yesterday as did some of his war companies. He only has really small positions and does this as a lark, but it is paying off for him.

It's to be expected from this kind of historic world altering events.

It is amazing, however, that Iran, which was under some kind of severe sanctions for their oil, is now causing a bit of a row in their death throes.

Energy stocks way up in pre-trading.

There be jitters but I just looked at a small portfolio I have and since the April panic of last year it's gained almost 19%. Stay the course.

/-----/ No one should "play a little" in the market or do it "as a lark."
It is a serious business. If your son wants to play a little as a lark, go to a casino and drop $5 in the penny slots.

Lloyds withdrew coverage on anything transiting Hormuz, that was more effective at closing the strait than Iran’s threats.

Meh, depends on your situation.....I had not even looked at the one I talked about since 12/23.

It was just a bunch of DuPont stock I sold and put into a couple of funds years ago.

/----/ Kuwait air defense shot them down, not Tehran.

Who cares who shot them down ?

As if America would admit a humiliating truth .

The same million to one blunder not twice but three times .
Only American Fat heads would swallow that .

As you have shown us , rofl .
The Fat Heads club .

As for this weekend .
You watch all personnel being moved off US , ME , bases , the US Navy movement and note all cancelled flights in Israel .
You do not have to be clever to work out the answer unless you are an American Fat Head .
Which you are .
