So his god told him to not fill that prescription. If I were that patient I would ask to see that pharmacist's medical license....the one that allows them to make a determination as to whether a prescription is necessary or not.

The patient has no right to interfere with the pharmacists relationship with God.

Why would God want a dead pre embryo or zygote to decompose and rot inside a women? The Doctor prescribed the medication to evacuate the dead remains. Are Christians now going to demand rights to force women to carry deat zygotes and fetus's inside of them until the practice causes the women to die from the complications?

Conceivably, out of concern "the woman's already miscarried" becomes an excuse used to cause a miscarriage when one hadn't yet occured.

In Milledgeville, Georgia, Brittany Cartrett recently was informed by her doctor of something no expecting mother wanted to hear: she had miscarried early in her pregnancy, about four or five weeks in. Her doctor called a Walmart in Milledgeville asking that it provide Cartrett with a medication that would help her pass naturally.

The problem is, the Walmart refused to offer the prescription. “So we found another place to fill it but I still had to go up there to get another prescription so when I went up there she asked if I had any questions about this prescription. I said no, I don't, but I do have a question about the other one. And she looks at my name and she says, oh, well...I couldn't think of a valid reason why you would need this prescription,” said Cartrett.

The drug is Misoprostol, which can be used to induce an abortion (though it was not being used for that in this case).

Georgia law has for the past 15 years allowed pharmacists to refuse to prescribe certain drugs if they feel it violates their personal beliefs.

something the pharmacist should have cleared up with the doctor. not filling the prescription there simply means the patient would have to go elsewhere, it does not correct any suspected mistake.

Do Pharmacists routinely call doctors liars?

Generally, no, but I did work in a pharmacy for a little bit and we had a doctor in town who the pharmacists in my store wouldn't fill prescriptions from because it was known he was allowing people to abuse pain medication. He was eventually arrested and had his medical license pulled.

You're full of crap and don't know what you are talking about. Misoprostol is used in combination with Mifepristone. The Mifepristone cause the abortion, the Misoprostol reduces the trauma effects. Sounds like neither you are the pharmacists knows what the Doctor knows. The pharmacist was actually putting the women in danger by making a decision she was unqualified to make.

Why can't it be freedom for both?
She was still able to get her prescription just not with this one.
I could see forcing them if she couldn't get it anywhere else but that is not the case.
