A majority of voters believe former President Barack Obama's national security team schemed and lied in pushing the false “Russiagate” scandal to undermine the legitimate election of President Donald Trump, and now want them prosecuted for it.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shared with Secrets, 54% of likely voters said it is likely that Team Obama “committed serious crimes in manipulating intelligence.” Only 41% of respondents disagreed.

Blah, Blah, Blah

There have been numerous investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and none have shown it to be a hoax.

Three-fourths of U.S. voters who follow the news of the investigation into the Trump Russia Collusion hoax think it’s likely that Obama Administration officials “committed serious crimes” to foster the false narrative used to smear and impeach President Donald Trump.

Referencing a recent report from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard concluding that then-President Barack Obama’s national security team manipulated and manufactured intelligence to promote a false narrative about Russia and Donald Trump, a Rasmussen poll of U.S. likely voters conducted July 29-31, 2025 asked the following question:

“How likely is it that Obama administration officials committed serious crimes in manipulating intelligence?”
Fully 73% of voters who say they’ve followed recent news of the investigation “very closely” think that it’s at least somewhat likely that Obama officials committed serious crimes.

What’s more, two-thirds (65%) of those who followed the news very closely believe it’s “very likely” that Obama officials are guilty of serious crimes.

More than half (54%) of all voters polled believe it’s likely that serious crimes were committed, including 37% who think it’s very likely. Forty-one percent (41%) don’t think it’s likely and five percent are “not sure.”

Four of five (83%) of Republican voters think serious crimes were committed, compared to just one of three (32%) Democrats. Republicans (41%) are also more likely than Democrats (25%) to have very closely monitored the recent news of the investigation into the Obama Administration’s culpability in the hoax.

No one should be above the law, including Obama and the CIA, and that particularly goes for people attempting a coup of a legitmately elected president. Now that's treason and insurrection.

Poll: Crimes were committed, prosecute Team Obama

Russiagate was “literally” a coup against Trump that meets the “criminal elements” of a conspiracy, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

“The Russia collusion hoax against President Trump remains the single greatest hoax and the greatest assault on our democracy in the history of this country,” Miller said. “There’s no comparison, there’s no parallel to anything else. It was a coup. And I’m using that term literally. … It meets the criminal elements of a conspiracy against the government and the criminal elements of a conspiracy to deprive citizens of their civil rights under color of law, one egregious felony after another.”

Miller said the new information released by Gabbard “eliminates any scintilla of doubt about the intention, the premeditation, the planning and orchestration of this conspiracy.” Miller also agreed with CIA Director John Ratcliffe, a former prosecutor and congressman who told Bartiromo last week that he did not believe the statute of limitations would be a problem because the alleged conspiracy is ongoing.

Except of course you already had commissions, including one with Marco Rubio on it, that said there was 1) no illegal behavior; and 2) there was a definite attempt by the Russians to collude with to help trump win.

You've already done this like, three times.

A lot of new information was discovered. :dunno:

Evidence is evidence, especially when it was discovered in a burn bag.
I'm willing to bet the Rubio never saw what was in it prior
to the recent discovery.
Go for it. Nothing says popcorn adventure like re-opening 2017 again. :auiqs.jpg:

Well, if you're laying ALL the cards on the table, your tent has been going after
Trump since 2016 with the hoax.....and still are. :smoke:
Except it wasn't a hoax, and he didn't win 2020, and he did try to overturn electoral results, and he did try to get Ukraine to create dirt on Biden, and he did have superclassified docs that he refused to return etc. etc. etc.

I look forward to watching the show. It will be fun.

A Rasmussen Republican circle jerk poll isn’t credible.

Besides, all Presidents have immunity from prosecution for all official acts and every investigation of Russian involvement in the 2016 elections has been confirmed by intelligence agencies and governments worldwide.

The rest of the world watched it happen. Your worldwide media - on both sides, is watched and Russia owns Trump’s ass and always has.

The arrests and convictions and the evidence are overwhelming. That’s why nobody in the world has any respect for Trump. He sold you out.

Forget explaining to him. Some people believe if they just keep denying the truth it will become false. He is like a little kid with his fingers in his ears saying "I can't hear you."

The HerdMind strong on this after a few weeks of relentless propaganda and misleading talking points put out by the New GOP MAGAMEDIA Machine.

Just like they did last time they got the Herd all excited.
