The world doesn’t revolve around you. Look at how society treated gays just a few decades ago. It was wrong. They were minimized, bullied, discriminated against and oppressed. Still happening in many areas. Same thing is happening now in the trans community.

Again Slade, you can decide to be a pornstar, people don't have to like it, respect it or be silent about it. It's your choice and you have to deal with it.

Slade, no one is saying that, but also you can't impose your values on history.
Blacks -- absolutely not, I'm proud my party ended slavery
Women -- no, proud my party got them the right to vote
Gays -- I don't believe in gay marriage (and I have been to them), but they should be allowed to do what they want, as long as it's not taking kids to drag shows or grooming them in the classroom (and I have plenty of gay friends who agree)


So there are my points......Only really hypocritical on gay marriage, but I'll support friends, even if I don't agree with the idea......and I have a very strong record on the rest.

You recognize the wrongs of the past with blacks and women, that’s great because in 30 years the oppression of LGBTQ will be looked at the exact same way by the majority of our society and we will hopefully be in a better place. It’s too bad your grand party isn’t taking the lead to right these wrongs

You can't right the past....what is it with you lefties and wanting to correct history, it just that history, can't be fixed......you need to move on. The GOP does fine with gay issues. They are not super pro gay, they just treat them like everyone else, which is a good thing and they don't attack you if you disagree, dems on the other hand act like you shot them if you disagree.

They don’t treat them like everybody else, obviously. You just said yourself that you don’t support gay marriage. That’s not treating them like everybody else. And you have gay friends. There are still many out there that want nothing to do with gays and see them as demented perverts. And the way you speak of trans is not much different hope how haters used to speak of blacks and women. And then you pretend like they aren’t being minimized. Of course they are!!!! Just look at yourself if you want to see an example.
