It's actually quite a brilliant strategy.

Whether Vivek believes in the merits of Trump's innocence or deserving of being pardoned, there is almost no downside to this strategy - other than perhaps turning off some Republican Trump haters like yourself.

For Trump's supporters, this pledge is wildly appealing. It also undoubtedly resonates loudly with Trump as well.

It surely appeals to me. Trump's no spy, and if the allegations against him are true, it's still only happening because Trump is Biden's and the Deep State's biggest threat.

And whether Trump is found guilty or not, Vivek gets lots of upside with this pledge, setting an example for how Republicans are supposed to stick together (or at least keep their mouths shut.).

I don’t hate DJT. I voted for him in 2016, though mostly as a protest against the cast of characters the Republicans ran in the Primary and fully believing Clinton would defeat him. She did here in the Communistwealth of Taxachusetts.

I liked many of the things he tried to do, but he was as unwilling as unable to build the coalitions necessary to get things done.,That wasn’t entirely his fault but he seemingly did everything possible to exacerbate the issues rather than finding ways to bring people to his side. His circus clown personality and attitude were utterly unprofessional at times. That’s why I didn’t vote for him in 2020.

The last two years have been even more of a clown show for Mr zttump. There wouldn’t be any rattling bones if there weren’t skeletons in the closet. I can’t snd wont vote for thst type of person in 2024.

I like this guy, I could see voting for Ramaswamy in the general election.

He isn't a Republican establishmentarian, further he is sufficiently wealthy that he will be able to stand up to the Lame Stream media.

He's a native of my own birth state of Ohio, and like myself is an alumni of a tremendous Catholic prep school.

The only points of real negativity I see with him is the fact he graduated Clown College instead of a serious undergrad institution, although he did graduate with a serious major instead of political science or lgbt studies.
