The investigation is ongoing. They will check to see how long she has own the gun to see if her actions were premeditated. And to find out did her husband barged into the home, or did they staged it to make it look like as if he forced his way into the home after the altercation. Because he could of have been leaving the home with something that belonged to her or the both (Like illegal drugs or Popeye's fried chicken sandwich), and she wanted to stop him from taking it away. Which means she was not in a life threatening situation.
But it is best to have an operating body cam on you at all times while carrying a gun. Because a video camera is a reliable witness that helps to avoid litigation.
