The war hasn't been going well for months now....especially since the spring thaw. (Still ongoing) it's a mud pit over there right now.

Drone warfare has stretched out the front battle "line" to become over 40km wide.
(Rifles unnecessary but still recommended)

Russia still does meat waves of personell.....but not often anymore as it's too expensive with a human capital that they dont have anymore. They have killed off too many people. Also, North Koreans, Afrikans, Cubans and other groups aren't standing for it.

If you think your commander is going to order one....you give his driver the directions for driving that will put him square in the sights of the drones.....no more meat wave strike. Funny how things work out that way.

Then there is the vodka drops. With so many foreign troops fighting for Russia.....vodka drops dont work as well as they used to. They drink other things other than vodka. Things not as easily obtained.

At this point.....
Russia has EVERYTHING to lose....nothing to gain except pride. Not even reputation at this point. And Ukraine has demonstrated they are very capable of continuing to take potshots at Russian infrastructure. Ukrainians are still very upset at Russia.....go figure.

And if Russia pulls out of Ukraine, does a reasonable deal for Crimean naval bases.....its ALL over. The sanctions, the embargoes, and lack of infrastructure. The bleeding stops. Every one of the world's largest corporations comes back to Russia....
McDonald's, swiss watches, tennis shoes, and etc. More importantly though....truck, tractor, and train carriages come back....so you can begin to move food and supplies domestically again. Find something other than cheese and yogurt in the grocery stores.

Many good points. In the last 5–6 weeks, many Moscow imperialists have been demanding to end this war or /and even to criticizing tsar politics. What has happened — has the Moscow empire gotten tired of this war?
