Nope, that's not the quote. Black pilots, or female pilots hired PURELY because of their sex, or color isn't racist, or sexist. It's DEI, and it gets people killed.

There are plenty of female pilots who are incredibly talented and they hate the DEI in aviation.

He said that in order to meet that quota, the airline had to lower its standards. Thus, instead of hiring in the basis of established criteria, they hire lesser qualified people to meet the quota.

Now, if I see the pilot on my plane is a black man or a black woman, that doesn’t mean that the pilot is not excellent. But, as a matter of the odds, excellence is no longer a presumption.

If you go to a doctor for some medical crisis with complications, do you INSIST that your doctor must be black or female? Or do you instead try to ascertain how qualified that doctor is?

I know I don’t give a rat’s ass about skin color. I just want an appropriately well educated, trained and experienced physician.
